Amoeba (pronounced as ' ameuba ', from Greek: without form) is a genus of single-celled organisms that consists of protoplasm with one or more cores. The endoplasma (inner layer) is cloudy and pixelated while the ectoplasm (outer layer) usually clear. The organism belongs to the carrot legs and varies depending on the kind of between 30 and 800 µm.
The single-cell organism can free life or if for example, the parasite in humans.
The Entamoeba histolytica Amoeba dysentery can cause dangerous for people.
The organism feeds primarily on bacteria.
The name Amoeba comes from the Greek amoibe, which means change and relates to the ever-changing form of the organism by the protruding from seem feet. Using this seemingly feet, pseudopodia, moves the Amoeba reproduce and feeds. He closes with food particles in its appearance feet. For example, a food vacuole formed.
